Kid's Room

When i get bored

I always loovee moving things in my house

My husband used to shocked when he came home from work

found out that i moved our 2,5m tall kitchen cupboard

by myself :D

He was upset and told me that i shouldnt do that alone

But i did it again with our bed.

I just cant wait until he's back from work

Besides ,... he will say " later .. im tired "

See ?

Its been so long that im not doing this

Thats because since i have kids, im at my mom's house A LOT.

And im moving a lot too from one room to another.

But now , im settle .. 

this is still at my mom's because she's not let me back home yet

unless i let the kids at her's :p 

i've been planning to have kids room since Diaz born

that's 3 years ago hahaha

Finally ,.. I did it

 Actually .. this is a standing shelf

why i put it on the wall ?

Because its impossible to put anything on it

Everytime i tidy up their toys

Diaz and Day put everything back on the floor

Bike On My Table

my father bought me a new bike

for now it just stand still on my table

while

im having my snack "bubur ketan hitam" in cloudy afternoon
thinking....

would be nice if i can bike to work on monday
join me , anyone ? :D

More Brown

I've been watching the NATE BERKUS show for the last couple of weeks

and made me more influence by vintage interior lately.

Found several interior designer blogger who have the same interest make it worst, but in a good way .. :)

One of Nate's suggestion is to find treasure in your attic or old storeroom.

since i just moved into a new home,

i wouldnt have any treasure to find.

but i know where to find!

my grandma's room :D

since she passed away 3 years ago, i feel like i have to find something to remind me of her.

and last week, my mom found it for me.

the treasure that i'm looking for

an old leather suitcase hahaha

i know, for some people it might sound weird and ridiculous

but i love it :p

eventhough i have no idea what am i gonna do with it yet

for now i think it look nice in my bedroom

feels like i was preparing to go abroad

well, maybe i will

someday i want to just grab my bag and go somewhere

without making any mature plan.

that would be a one in lifetime adventure :D

Vintage Touch

I used to call my dad's house as home

but its more like antiques gallery now... hahaha
blame it to my dad :D

match to the super vintage floor

which is the original floor since the house build back in 50's

i never really like it before

"the vintage touch"

but living in this house since i was 5

made me influenced by it

this is one of his fave bike

he put it in our family room

and my mom can't say anything about it! :D

yes, one of them coz he has at least five in our backyard

we must put some kerosene to illuminate it

this is an iron...

and IT IS made from an IRON!

people used to put some charcoal to get the heat

im so glad i born after 70's

and this one we call "becak"

a small version of it

hhmm... vintage touch

looks cute to mix with modern style

just give it a try..

and you wont regret it!

besides....

they have more story to tell!

Resolutions

I never make New Years Resolution before
hhmm... or maybe i had one but forget them
after 24 hours :D
that's why i never know whether i complete the list on December or not.

Since im a blogger now,
better do it with a brand new way

Hey, mrs. santa came early this year!

my mom went to Sidoarjo with her

and bought lots of "gifts" for me

HOME MAKEOVER WITH MINIMUM BUDGET

a dream house ...
surely my dream since i was still in a high school.
having a grandma with lots of rules living in the same roof give me a limited space to explore my needs decorate my own room..
dont put this here ,.. put these over there ...

and so ... i've been forgeting my idea to have my dream house until finally my boyfriend ask me to marry hahaha ...

so here we go , im starting to piece by piece collecting dime to have a total makeover of my house .. hmmm.. our home ... ^_^

starting with my garden ...

BEFORE

it was a real mess before i ask a gardener to help me ..
i pull out the weeds start from the lower section of my garden., it took me a week to finish throw out the last weeds because of my "busy" scheadule.
Finding the time between cooking and cleaning the house... i feel relieve and satisfied...but when i open my eyes in the next morning ... all those weeds were THERE again!!
oh my...

AFTER

i love gardening.. but im not really have time to do all these things by myself..
it's not as easy as i imagine ..
after being stuborn for 10 months and convince that i'm gonna do it all by myself after my 9 to 5 office hour , preparing everyday meal , being a house maid also ...:D finally i commited that i need a hand ...

only for $3 ... then , VOILA!!

mission one complete ^_^ ...
now, im moving to mission two .. the bed room
since im entering this house , i've been moved my heavy bedroom's furniture made of " KAYU JATI " for several times.. ALL BY MYSELF!
it was a surprise for my husband :D
and finally i can made up my mind ...

love my new bedroom
im adding two photos of me and my mom + dad
just to make me remember that they'll always be there for me ^_^
